Hello everyone.
The question from @trucklife-family is quite complicated to answer. At the same time, it's quite simple. The most difficult part is giving advice different from what everyone here has already given masterfully.
So, to answer this week's contest #263, I would tell my children to be themselves.
I have two children, a boy and a girl. The boy is the older of the two. They don't have to emulate anyone or be like anyone else. They don't even have to be like each other. The fact that they are siblings doesn't force them to be the same. Even if they were twins, they wouldn't have to be.
Each person is unique, and that's the wonderful thing about nature. We've given both of my children the same upbringing, with the same values, and under the same roof. However, they are two completely different personalities, and that's the best part.
What makes you different makes you unique; that's what makes you special. People have to love and respect you for who you are. And if you're honest with yourself, that's the face you'll show the world. Whoever loves you has to accept you for who you are. Whoever doesn't love you, well, that's their loss. We don't have to be liked or be liked by everyone. The problem in that case isn't you, it's the other person.

No one has ever seen a natural leader who is like everyone else. On the contrary, leaders are unique, and their followers are the ones who, in one way or another, try to emulate their characteristics. That's why, by being yourself, you can become a leader. No one moves forward by following someone else. Leaders are the ones who set the pace and point the way.

Hola, estimadas.

Nadie avanza delante siguiendo a alguien.
