Although Smart watches are completely small in screen size and also low on functionality, a smart watch is indeed effective and can come in handy when you least expect it. A smart watch can be handy in monitoring a couple of things that go on in your body that even you wouldnt take note of. For example; The steps you take in a day, pulse rate, heart rate and calories burnt. Now these are stuffs you ordinarily wouldn't know unless you went to go see a doctor or probably you schedule a dat with the doctor for a test  .

Furthermore, l Smart watches are called smartwatches for a reason, because they are smart in performing actions that your phone wouldn't do effectively. And yes, the screen might appear small but it is indeed mighty because you could do just about anything you would normally do on your phone on a smart watch, and it's even better in a world filled with advanced tech. A smart watch is capable of extending the features of a phone to the wrist watch and in most cases through a bluetooth connection.

Smartwatches come in handy when you don't feel like walking the streets with your advance device and most times people prefer their smart watches in surroundings that aren't exactly secured. Due to its excessive abilities, a smart watch can help you read notifications, access files, place calls and send messages also, isn't that the least remarkable? it definitely is.

So, I think smartwatches aren't just necessary but also effective in many ways., and although it doesn't replace a smart phone it can perform some reasonable functions that a smartphone can do and often times perform functions that smartphones can't perform.
