I payed a visit to the timber market to get some woods for the construction of my poultry shade..
For the construction, I had to get 2*3 wood which will be good for such construction.
The woods were quite expensive as the prices has rising twice the normal price it used to be before, because of the state government ban on illegal logging of wood in the forest.
This has caused the price to go up, making it expensive to get more woods because of the cost.
For the construction I estimated 70piece of 2*3 wood @ N200 ($0.48)
But on reaching the market the wood was selling for N400 ($0.96)
Which had to make me reduce the quantity to 60piece cause I had to get other materials like nails and wire mesh.
I was quite shock at the price of items..
I would have to adjust my plans a little so it can be accommodated.
The price of transportation was something else, had to pay N2,000($4.82)
To transport the materials to my house.
