May: Seven Day Poetry Challenge, Day 1

Hello, there. How's it been, people?
So, I decided to jump in on the Seven Day Poetry Challenge inspired by @rebeccafl. This is my entry.. Its the new month of May and here's to the next 31 cheery days..
So, here goes.

Its May
Season of the bloom
all cheery and gay
till the rain brings the gloom.

The conspicuous bliss of roses
and their cologne filling our noses.
Hibiscuses oozing a vibrant hue
as their petals askew.

The sharp gleam of lush greens,
The blinding glow of the ixora's yellow.
The quick flappings of the butterfly's wings,
in an erratic tone.

All reminding me of nature's scripts
and her plot twists..

Its May,
Enjoy each day.
