Well, they used to be pretty tight in the 90s and 00s, with both of them appearing on Oprah together and all. But fast forward to 2021 and the two aren't even talking to one another. Came across this interesting story on Barkley's take on the the events.

Anyway, according to him, it's all down to him criticizing the way MJ running the Charlotte Bobcats as an owner. Whether there's more to it, we'll have to wait and see if MJ responds. MJ has been giving a lot more interviews recently as part of the Last Dance promotional activities. So maybe he will respond and we'll get to hear his side of the story.
Would CB be considered a great? I don't know... he's never won the trophy but to be fair, he was never really on great teams.
