INTRODUCTION:

Adam, who graced this earth for a remarkable 930 years, eventually passed away. He left behind Seth, along with his siblings, to grieve his departure (vv. 3-6).

Seth, with a lifespan of 912 years, met his end. Enos and his siblings were left to lament his loss (vv. 6-9).

Enos, who lived for an impressive 905 years, eventually departed from this world. Cainan and his siblings were left behind to mourn his passing (vv. 9-11).

Cainan lived for a total of 910 years before his demise. Mahalaleel and his siblings were left to grieve his loss (vv. 12-14).

Mahalaleel graced this earth for 895 years before drawing his last breath. Jared and his siblings were left behind to mourn his passing (vv. 15-18).

Jared's time on this earth spanned an impressive 962 years before he too passed away. Enoch and his siblings were left to mourn his departure (vv. 16-18).

Enoch, instead of facing death, was taken alive by God Almighty to heaven (vv. 19-22).
His family, including Methuselah and his siblings, were left to remember him.

Methuselah's life extended to an extraordinary 969 years before he passed away. Lamech and his siblings mourned his loss (vv. 24-26).

Lamech lived for 777 years before meeting his end. Noah and his siblings were left behind to mourn his passing (vv. 26-29). This message was the funeral message on the very day of my mother's burial. The preacher was Rev. Onyeabo Ogbonna of Assemblies of God Nigeria located at Asa-umunka in Asa-Amuhi Section, Aba District.

THE MAN ENOCH:

From Adam to Lamech, all passed away after many years of life. Only one managed to escape the clutches of death. The man, Enoch, received high praise, "and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him" (Genesis 5:24).

There are numerous advantages to walking with God:

1. You will become a cherished confidant of the Almighty through Jesus Christ.
2. Your transgressions will be pardoned, and you will be regarded as righteous.
3. Your name will be inscribed in the book of life by Jesus Christ Himself.
4. You will be promised eternal life alongside Jesus Christ.
5. You may escape death entirely, and even if you pass away, you will inherit God's kingdom.
6. You will relish everlasting life with Jesus Christ and other dedicated followers.
7. Your heart will be brimming with peace and joy that transcends all understanding.
8. You will receive counsel and enlightenment from the Holy Spirit in times of need.
9. Your faith will flourish as you walk alongside God each day.
10. You will experience a profound sense of purpose and satisfaction in serving others in the name of Jesus.
11. Your prayers will be heard and answered according to God's plan for your life.
12. You will find solace and strength in God's presence during times of tribulations and challenges.
13. Your love for others will mirror the unconditional love that God has bestowed upon you.
14. You will shine as a beacon of light and hope in a world overshadowed by darkness and desolation.
15. Your life will be a testament to God's grace, mercy, and faithfulness to those in your circle.
16. You will be a source of encouragement and inspiration to those who are facing difficulties or feeling lost.
17. Your deeds and words will echo the teachings and compassion of Jesus Christ.
18. You will experience a profound sense of belonging and community within the body of believers.
19. Your outlook on life and its trials will be molded by God's Word and truth.
20. You will find the fortitude and bravery to confront adversity with unwavering trust in God.
21. Your bond with God will deepen as you earnestly seek Him in prayer and meditation.
22. You will uncover new depths of grace and mercy as you extend forgiveness to others.
23. Your existence will be a living testament to God's transformative influence and redemption.
24. You will be a vessel of God's love and grace, spreading His message of salvation to all.
25. You will discover peace amidst chaos and hope in moments of despair.
26. Your heart will overflow with gratitude and appreciation for all that God has done for you.
27. You will experience a profound sense of purpose and calling in your journey with God.
28. Your relationships will be enriched and blessed by the love and compassion you have received from God.
29. You will be empowered to overcome obstacles and challenges with God's strength and guidance.
30. Your life will be a reflection of God's goodness and faithfulness to those around you.

The Almighty God did it to Enoch, in the Bible time. He has done it again in the life of Late Madam Jemaiamah Uñanya Onwubiko Odum whose record shows that she is a testimony.

Have in mind that death is inevitable, certain and good, mostly when one dies as a Christian.
