The bible teaches us that when Jesus Christ died he resurrected and went to heaven. It also records that faithful servants such as Enoch and Elijah were taken by God in extraordinary circumstances. However, the clear biblical emphasis is that Jesus Christ is the only One who ascended into heaven by His own authority and serves as our High Priest and Mediator before the Father.
The bible promise ressurection and eternal life to believers who have died. It teaches that the fullness of God's kingdom will be revealed at Christ's return, when the righteous will be raised and receive their eternal reward. Therefore, Christians should place their hope in God's promise of resurrection and remain faithful while awaiting the coming of the Lord.
