I've spent the last few days harvesting olives with a bunch of people in the local area, and it's working out very nicely so far...
Five Qunitas in total with from between 10 to 60 trees and we're three days in, having done property on on Saturday/ Sunday and half of my olives yesterday, the other half today.
It's been so full on I've struggled to find the time to post, but here's a quick shot of the process - LOTS of nets around multiple trees and then rake/ vibtate the olives off....
And then into this handy sorting vessel which separates the leaves and twigs from the olives....
It was a 10 hour day yesterday, and so far we've got about a tonne of olives in three days, a few more today and then we head to the press this evening.
I've got to run, I'm actually late already!
