In the past years, the world leader was Obama. Being the world leader, messing up and playing around is the last thing he should do.
He wouldn't use his tax funds to make a grown-up playground (as awesome as it would be) because he had pensions to pay etc.
So he wouldn't allow an exorcist to influence the world leader. Cuz wtf right?
So how is it that the pope has enough power to sway the world government, enough to warrant the sheer respect he got when visiting America, while a Hindu leader would probably use 'Canada Air business class' and a few looks by racists.
