So the other day I found both the Prairie Bomb and Prairie Christmas Bomb at the store. I had to get both of them. The Prairie Bomb is rated at 99pts, and was freaking amazing. It was thick and malty and damn near perfect. I would agree that it was worth all 99 points. After I was done I needed to try the Christmas Bomb. I was told by a lot of friends that it was better then the normal. As Im writing this Im drinking it. It tastes like a super smooth stout mixed with a ginger bread cookie. They are some of the best stouts that I have had.
The Prairie Bomb is an American Double/Imperial Stout- 14.0% ABV. Pours a dark brown, almost black color with a creamy head. The aroma is spicy & peppery with plenty of chocolaty, roasted malts. The taste provides smooth, creamy flavors of sweet chocolate, roasted malts, coffee & spicy pepper.
The Prairie Bomb Christmas Bomb is an American Double/Imperial Stout- 13% ABV. Just in time for Christmas. "The Bomb! that we all know and love, with the addition of Christmas spices -- cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg."
I am a firm believer that these are worth every penny and everyone should try them.
