Ever watch TV and see someone nearly get beat to death with a normal, everyday object and think it was hilarious!? No?
Well, I’ve got a friend who would disagree. For the sake of identity I'll call her Madison because who knows what she would do if she found out I was writing about her!? I might end up like one of her jokes!
See, Madison has a… different, more unique sense of humor than most. Okay, it’s morbid. This girl laughed when a killer found out the prisoner was trying to kill him, and choked him for it. And I mean she was laughing, like, knee-slapping laughing
I was all “Madison, you think this is funny!?”
“It’s supposed to be a funny scene!” was Madison’s excuse. “Why else would they add this scene?”
“Because it’s a CRIME DRAMA!”
This is the same lady who stares dead-faced at fail videos online. She says it’s really hard to make her laugh, but show her a time someone nearly got hit in the head with a brick and she’ll double over.
I should probably warn you to never crack jokes about her, her roasts are…not exactly light-hearted.
One time me and the gang were all playing a game of Skelly, and Madison and a few others ended up in Skelly*.
“You all must have been having a highschool reunion this game.” The Winner laughed. She said so because everyone ended up in Skelly and she won by default.
“Oh, you think you're so funny, wait ‘till I get my cat and you end up with 13 stitches! Then you’ll be laughing hard huh?” Madison fiddled with her cap and smiled.
The Winner was tight-lipped. Everyone was silent. “Uh… you don’t know how to roast,” the Winner said finally.
Everyone agreed. Madison is the type of person to say, “I’ve got this meat mallet and I’m gonna hit you with it! Would you like that?”
“Uh, Madison, that’s not a roast, that’s a threat.”
Madison’s been told she has a morbid sense of humor, but she denies it everytime, saying things were presented funny or that other people’s humor is the messed up one.
Sure… whatever helps you sleep at night…as long as everybody else is safe. I’d hate to see what she would do if she had a comedy skit.
