Hey there :-)
After I finished the blank yesterday I continued with shaping the Coin.
This it what I started with today:
First I had to copy the design onto the blank. Like last time I just layed the paper over it and pierced through.
But instead of piercing the whole lines, I just pierced the edges and drew the lines afterwards with a pencil.
Finished with that I also pierced the lines. That way I avoided problems may be caused by a slide of the paper.
You can barely see that I pierced them, but you can feel it.
In case you wonder why most of the motif is missing: I will do the "F" last and the other things won't be raised, but carved in.
I also found a place for my pencil haha :D
Ouuh.. I made a mess :D
This is the point where it get's interesting. But I felt so bad, like I am destroying my work :D
But after the first hits it already looked so good. This was fun!
Nah, this one is to big for our Coin :D
Piece by piece the Coin gets revealed :-)
So this is what I came up with so far:
Not as beautiful as before, heh? :D
But see how the hole from the branch slowly disappears? I hoped it will :-)
Let me know what you think about the wooden coin and if you have any suggestions!
Have a nice day and like always: I will keep you updated!
