Hey everyone! I've been playing around with some words lately, and the idea of a peaceful night just kept coming back to me. Thought I'd try to capture that feeling in a poem. It's been a while since I've shared anything, so I'm a little nervous, but excited to hear what you all think. Let me know if it resonates, or if I totally missed the mark! Anyway, here's what I came up with:

Peaceful is the night,
The world is hushed and still.
Stars like tiny lights,
Dot the distant hill.

A gentle breeze goes by,
Through leaves upon the trees.
No hurried sounds I spy,
Just quiet, if you please.

The moon, a silver gleam,
Watches from above.
A restful, happy dream,
Filled with peace and love.

The darkness softly falls,
A blanket on the land.
Peaceful is the night, it calls,
Held gently in its hand.
