Seafood is not part of our culture. We don't have many seafood dishes in our Bangali cuisine except some fishes and lobsters. Also, seafood is a luxury, especially when you are living far away from the sea. So I don't usually have much seafood. But a few days ago I had been to the ocean and had the chance to have lots of seafood.
There's a place near the sea where you can find several restaurant sides by side who sells seafood at a reasonable price. Well, the restaurants are just local, nothing luxurious. But they serve quality food. The best thing is you can get to choose which food you want to have from their shelves.
As you can see, they have different options. Like crabs pomfret, salmon, tuna, lobster, octopus, squid and what not! So, just choose yours, pay the bill and they will make it for you in a few minutes. You can get freshly made, hot & spicy, delicious food there.
I ordered crab and pomfret fry. I forget to capture the image of the pomfret. You know, I was hungry. They usually deep fry the items. But they also have a BBQ option. But it cost high and needs more time to prepare.
The environment of the place is okay. It's not air-conditioned. And you may find the place overly crowded. So, maybe have to wait for your food to arrive. But as this is the place where you can have the best seafood at a reasonable price, so the time worth it. Also, the service was not bad. But they don't provide any sauce or anything with the fried items, which is really a drawback of the place.
