Write two truths about yourself and one lie but don't tell us which one is the lie.
Hehe I thought this would be fun. Actually, I think the most fun part about this is that I won't be revealing the lie, so that's the mysterious and exciting part. Have fun guessing!
Here we go!
I have never dyed my black hair before.
There was a time during the teenage years or during the younger adult phase, some friends around me were experimenting with dyeing their hair into interesting colours. Somehow, I just wasn't interested in spending money on these things and I didn't think of changing the colour of my hair, which is black by the way.
These days, I do know people who dye their hair black because white strands of hair have started to appear. At my current age, I do have a few rare strands of white hair but I see it as part of ageing and it doesn't quite bother me at all.
I love my job.
Since graduating from university, I have been working at the same company since 2012. Come June this year, it will be 13 years. These days, I hardly find people who would stay 13 years in a company, as most would look for new career paths or seek better compensation over time. There's no right or wrong of course. For me, I have always enjoyed my work and I have always been able to learn new things over the years. There will always be both good and bad days, good and bad colleagues, good and bad bosses, but I think as long as the good ones outnumber the bad ones, it's good enough for me.
I haven't never been to Paris.
Paris has always been one of the more popular travel destinations among people that I know. It is a touristy city because there are more interesting sights and activities, and I heard there's this aura of romance over there, and people have gone there to propose, to take wedding photographs, etc.
As for me, for Europe, I have visited only London. I did had a two week itinerary planned out for a trip to Europe in 2020, which included Paris, but the pandemic came, and I had to cancel all my air tickets, hotels, and other bookings. It was disappointing because I was really looking forward to it, but that's life.
Before I end, here's one of the interesting meals I had this weekend! In the spirit of putting my health as the priority for this year, I chanced upon a shop selling chia pudding! This was a matcha chia pudding, together with yoghurt, granola, coconut shavings and strawberries. I thought it was a small serving initially, but the chia pudding was so dense, and it was definitely very filling. I also ordered berry chia smoothie, which had blueberries and strawberries in it. I wouldn't say it's delicious because they don't add sugar but it's definitely very healthy for sure.
So back to the post, which do you think is the lie? You can make your guess below if you want.
P.S. Those who got it right will get a mysterious reward from me. :P
