An Overview

The following images are taken of the outside gardens of the Meijer Gardens. This second session features the pond of the Japanese gardens.

Fish Beds

Something that was very interesting to see was how many of the fish were in beds they made for breeding. I am not extremely familiar with many non-tropical fish though. As far as I am aware, the fish making the beds were blue gill. Carp were also in the pond, but did not seem to be what was spawning.

Rock and Sand Garden

This section was very pleasing and tranquil. I was looking forward to it. While I love plants, something like this is nice as well.
