Shadows and Reflections Contest Entry: @redheadpei

This is my entry for the Shadows and Reflections Contest by @galenkp! You can read more about the contest 👉 Here.

Since I live on an small Island it is a short distance to the many beautiful red sand beaches. The following two photos are reflections in the water from the sunset at Stewart’s Point with the view across the Northumberland Strait, PEI.

The sun sinks lower in the sky. Hubby and I often take a walk on the beach in the warm summer evenings. I don’t have the kind of skin that takes kindly to the hot sun on an afternoon but an evening walk is wonderful.

More water reflections from another location on the Island. These photos are taken in different seasons. This is a view of the sun setting I saw from the TransCanada highway on the way into Charlottetown.

Sunset reflections on a snow-covered field. The photo was taken while I was driving in the countryside.

Shadows

Many wildlife visit my backyard. This is Rocky the raccoon and his shadow stopping by.

A silver fox runs, through the tree shadows, for the forest when I opened the back door.

A dove, casting a shadow, and a Junco enjoying eating the bird seeds I put out for them.
