At the center of the Norse realms stands the tree of life the Yggdrasil. Yggdrasil’s upmost branches hold Asgard, the home of the Aesir gods and goddesses, with Odin the All-Father.
Yggdrasil strength comes from the Well of Urd, a one of the many wells of the Norse realms, which waters will purify all that it touches. There are many kinds of critters, beings, lesser Gods and giants that live in these realms of Yggdrasil’s branches and roots. Amongst the beings are the Norns, which are seen as normal women but are beyond Gods, they weave the fateof all beings including the mightiest of Gods like Odin.
