My approach is more DIY grassroots indie self-publishing // small projects, small budgets, 1000 true fans. Figure out how to be valuable and build a following / audience of people who are REALLY into YOUR work.

I wish I had this! Most of my work is just for fun and for me to learn the process. Im definitely not as talented as you are and I definitely don’t have the loyal following. But Hey. If you still want to own your shit but want to get your books out the KDP (kindle direct print) is a great way to do things. Thats how I did mine, I could help you out if you want.
