This, and the comments that are listed down below are basically what I would do if I was an artist interested in publishing children's books.

You've already published some kind of children's book -- so maybe you'll have good insight into what might work and what might not work.

My hope is that people who haven't tried these things, will try them, and then improve on the models -- or people who know more than me about how to do stuff using these methods will correct me.

My approaches don't include traditional publishing / distros -- because I sort of assume that those are highly competitive.

My approach is more DIY grassroots indie self-publishing // small projects, small budgets, 1000 true fans. Figure out how to be valuable and build a following / audience of people who are REALLY into YOUR work.

That's my personal goal, so most of my suggestions are focused on that direction.

the HOW of the thing -- lately, for me, basically ever since i've become more into HIVE and Cryptoart, has been basically about leveraging multiple economies within the same project. Multiple economies, multiple platforms -- one project.

Multiple audience pools -- one project.

Multiple monetization sources -- one project.

Do a really solid project,l and then extract value, and then think about how to do it better next time, and then do it again.

That's the sort of business structure that really sets me on fire.
