MoonMoon debuted in 2016 with his single album, [Moon, Moon]. He writes his personal experiences into lyrics and delivers it with clam but touching melodies. Contrail and Paint (물감) are the most popular song of MoonMoon.
2. YUN DDan DDan (윤딴딴)
[Walking in the Winter]
Yun DDan DDan has a unique name as a singer. He got his stage name when his high school teacher called him “ddan dda ra,” a belittling word for entertainer or singer. Yun Ddan Ddan likes to give a twist by writing sad lyrics to cheerful melodies. Walking in the Winter and The Night I Miss You are two of the most popular songs of him.
3. Standing Egg (스탠딩 에그)
[Summer Night You And I]
Standing Egg debuted in 2010 and has established a large number of fans since then. The band has three members, each called Egg №1, 2, and 3. It is very difficult to pick just one best song from their albums, but I’d have to say Summer Night You And I, Little Star, and I’ll Pick You Up (OST of Korean Drama), are the most loved song among all.
4. Sweden Laundry (스웨덴 세탁소)
[The Time We Were Together]
Sweden Laundry debuted in 2012 with their single album, [Happy Birthday Waltz]. The duo has amazing voices that comfort us. Along with The Time We Were Together, Voice and Sleepiest at Dawn are the best pieces by Sweden Laundry.
5. NELL (넬)
[The Time Walking on Memory]
NELL is a modern rock band debuted in 2001 and the member has never changed since then. NELL has established a wide range of fans and constantly produced great songs including Four times around the sun.
6. Broccoli you too (브로콜리 너마저)
Broccoli you too is a band with four members. They debuted in 2007 with No More Encore. Their songs have soft melody and reserved emotion, which make them different from others.
7. CHEEZE (치즈)
[Madeleine Love]
Cheeze likes bouncy melody that makes the band stand out. Madeleine Love is a typical example of this. Dalchong’s (female vocal’s) clear voice is always amazing to listen. Love You(bye) is also one of Cheeze’s most loved songs.
