The song I’m presenting today is a song I really love. My band in church sang this song last Sunday, and while we were singing it, I found the song very interesting. The words touched me, and I really enjoyed the way the song sounded. After the service, the song was still in my mind, so I decided to sing it and share it here for my Creative Sunday post.
The song says “My desire is to know You,
My desire, I want to know You more.
I desire nothing else, no one else but You Lord”
These words are simple, but they have a strong meaning to me. The song is talking about having a strong desire to know God more. There are many things people desire in life, like money, success, good things and many others. But this song is reminding me that knowing God should also be one of the things we should desire.
I chose this song because of how I felt when my band sang it last Sunday. I really loved the song, and I enjoyed singing it with the band. It made me think about my own relationship with God and how I can continue to get closer to Him.
What I love most about this song is that it is very simple. You don't need too many words before you understand the message. It feels like someone is talking directly to God from the heart.
For me, this song is like a prayer. It is me telling God that I want to know Him more and that I don't want anything else to take His place in my heart.
