Hey, guys! As promised, I'm giving you a breakdown of how I did "Comic Baldy#27" :)
Throughout the 11 hours I spent making the comic, I took 111 screenshots of my progress. I can't put the whole process in here today!
Today I'm just gonna show just the first part of my draft! :D
Drafting
So I drag out my previous drafts of the comic story board into the picture. Yess, I've got my reference! :)
I could follow the exact story board above, but I think I wanna be creative!
I think I wanna play with the perspectives over here!
I place the 2 girls in the foreground, walking away from the mad man :P
Okay, time to draft the next few panels:
Yup, there's that girl behind Baldy.
Uhm, but what do I want her to do now?:
Let's draft a few copies of her:
Whoa, freaking hell!
The 3rd picture of her!
Her little skirt, the hair!
I gotta choose that! :P
Hmm, I can adjust some things... .
Whoopsie, I moved all the panels without thinking too much about it!
But I'm glad I gave the 2 girls their torsos.
Coz I want to make 4 panels ...
Like this :D!
Final Note
Oh, whoa, so much time has passed! That's all I can show you of my comic crafting process for the day!
For the above drafting and adjustments, spent my time from about 1:10 PM to 2:19 PM -- which is veeery long in hindsight! It makes me wonder what I should be doing different, when I watch a YouTube video (like this!), where the artists do their 2 page drafts. What I spend 60 minutes on, they spend literally 3 minutes doing! T.T
I think I got quite a bit more studying to do! ":D
