Lawless Justice
In the mist a group is concealed. A group where a skill is kept hidden. A skill that this group uses to beguile. To beguile the ignorant masses that would not understand them.
In the wind, their cloaks and rags are fluttering. A moment of silence -- save for ambiance -- where they wished they had but a morsel of cake. Their skills they had used to deceive and gain from the world. Had now betrayed them. They feel that life now is ... such a cheat.
With all that has gone on in this war, where lawlessness abound, they thought they would pillage gold and goods. They would bring relief for the poor. Money for the needy. And with all that they have done for the lower society, the world and its fate never fails to amaze them. They now are outcasts, and in hiding.
They meander through the forests. The forests of the unknown. The forest of the forgotten. And they wonder whatever they have done wrong. Squabbles had been sparking up in their midst, and they are not sure how much longer they can go.
But less happy
A boy decides that it is time, and be begins to uncover the artifact, his last resort, to the group... .

This is the 3rd freewrite I'm writing in the day. I have actually batched written these posts and scheduled them for the following days. Yup, this writing actually comes from 2018 Aug 01, 12 PM at UTC 0.
I wonder if I can do more batch freewrites like this. Might be more sustainable for me, rather than spending everyday to write. Well, a bit of variety is good I suppose.
