🥩 3kg Beef Bones
🧅 20 Shallots
🧄 10 cloves Garlic
🌿 2 inches Ginger
🥄 6 tablespoons Adabi Soup Seasoning
🌿 4 Sekawan Spices
📏 3 inches Cinnamon Sticks
⭐ 2 Star Anise
🍏 6 Cardamom Pods
🌸 6 Cloves
🧅 10 additional Shallots sliced
🌱 Coriander Leaves to taste
🧂 Salt to taste
Instructions
1- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Clean the beef bones thoroughly and set them aside.
- Slice 10 shallots and set them aside for garnishing.
2- Cook the Soup:
- In a large pot, add the beef bones and fill it with enough water to cover the bones.
- Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Skim off any impurities that rise to the surface.
3- Infuse Flavors:
- Once the broth is clear of impurities, add the whole shallots, garlic cloves, and ginger.
- Let them cook with the bones for about 30 minutes to infuse their flavors into the broth.
4- Season the Soup:
- Stir in the Adabi Soup Seasoning, followed by the sekawan spices (cinnamon sticks, star anise, cardamom pods, and cloves).
- Let the soup simmer for an additional hour, allowing the flavors to meld together.
5- Adjust Seasoning:
- Taste the broth and add salt according to your preference.
- Let the soup simmer for another 30 minutes.
6- Finishing Touches:
- Before serving, add the sliced shallots to the soup and stir well.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves right before serving.
