Once a cheater always a cheater? Ladies of Hive Community Contest #56

Today, as soon as I saw this week's contest I started to think about it and how I would go about it. Precisely I can relate deeply with the two questions our dear 
or have someone to cheer you up?
Well, a little bit of both. Kind of an ambiguous answer, right? But is the truth, I like to be left alone at first, to be allowed to chill out and think straight, then I do like my friends and loved ones to do something to cheer me up gradually, little gestures that make me feel better and let the bad mood go away from my body.
For instance, today, I woke up in a really bad mood because I didn't sleep well so I was ready to eat the heads of everyone who stood in my way. But after breakfast, I went out with my sister to buy groceries and she was making me laugh until I felt better.
No, and let me explain why:
There can be many reasons why someone cheats, psychological issues, neglect, fear of commitment, revenge, there are so many excuses, not reasons because in my eyes nothing justifies not using our God-given gift of speech to communicate the things that bother us and that might be driving us to the arms of another.
I have experienced that situation, my last boyfriend cheated on me with someone younger. He said at first that it was my fault because my parents picked on him and made too many jokes at his expense, that we didn't have enough intimacy, that I too made too many jokes, that sometimes I ignored him when we were with friends, and more. I always knew that something was off about those statements because, why didn't you say something about it? I felt so betrayed by him and hurt, especially because the reasons he gave me were so silly! But my gut feeling always knew, there was someone else.
Then, I saw him with his "new lady" and years later came the confirmation, first from a common friend and later by him, even saying that he considered asking me to get back together when he realized his mistake, but that he knew I wouldn't oblige to that. At least he knows me well, I wouldn't go back to someone who doesn't have the minimum amount of respect for the person who once he claimed to love.
