Frozen II - Review

Hi friends, I just watched the movie and I will start talking about the animation; This is a Disney studio movie and obviously we could expect the best in animation, it has been six years since the previous movie and those six years fortunately can be noticed in the animation and also mention a bit the cinematography, Frozen 2 uses one more technique or less similar to what the current Pixar movies are using, where the animation is beautiful, it is super detailed but the cinematography makes it stand out, either by the position of the cameras, by the color palette or because there are simply scenes that could I say, if they are like that memorable and these we live from the Soundtrack or the first Frozen movie, I can say that the only songs that I liked was the doll, I am free and in this movie no highlight for me, more than the stronger, the obvious basis, Into The Unknown, which is an obvious attempt to try to match Libre Soy.

The big improvement compared to the original, that would be our protagonists, personally the only one that I liked in the first movie, went to Anna to some extent, she is a princess that I like, that tries to be something like a parody of the Disney princesses, at least the character is one that I liked, but with Elsa the thing never happened, they say that is the only princess with Disney Superpowers and she is in charge of singing the famous song of free Today, but it is still a character that I found cold in every way and in this sequel is very responsible for establishing better ties of sisters and especially show us more to their characters.

I really liked that they tried to improve one of the weakest things in the original film, which would obviously be the relationship between Elsa and Anna, if the relationship was felt but we always had super thematic, super generic characters, which we have seen before and In this movie we can feel her as established characters. The bad thing about this movie is that it tries to be mature or at least I didn't believe it, it behaves exactly like the previous movie, like the Disney movie that everyone knows, only that it looks more mature, it looks like Things are taken a little more seriously, but when you try to be more mature, more philosophical or when you try to be more than what they are supposed to be, forgive me a lot but I honestly can't believe it.

Add to this the one that is too generic, I was convinced that Frozen 2 was going to be the surprise of the year, for me it was going to be a movie where I want to say Wow that movie was great but it is not the generic Disney movie, It's the same formula, not taking risks is too safe, so much so that for me, watching this movie was exactly the same as watching the first one. It's better than the first one, I don't think so; It is worse than the first, probably yes, because the only thing they achieved by making Frozen 2 feel so generic using the same formula that the original movie used or several Disney movies already used before, is that not giving everyone's reason We, when we say that Frozen is not the big deal, it is not the Oscar-worthy film and that it is not the surprise that everyone believes.

Olaf made it simpler than the previous movie, for a change they have to give a giant subplot, a super interesting subject to this character to stop being the character of the jokes, I listened to this whole Olaf theme of the existential problem I had and I couldn't help feeling that the current Pixar movies were being copied. But of this whole movie, what I think makes me throw it down completely, is precisely its history, we not only have two characters that really matter to us, yes! there is not a villain in the movie what a surprise at last a Disney movie does not have a villain, but even so the threat of the film is not something so shocking in the story, in the same way it is not at all interesting.

I see that the film is only supported by jokes, which is obviously supported by fans, who are the ones who will most appreciate all this and especially the relationship that the sisters have but well, summarizing this is my personal opinion, I was never telling the absolute truth here, I was just giving my opinion, what I think of the movie and in my case watching Frozen 2 was exactly the same as watching the previous movie, but less, the first movie I felt was saying something, the first film made a giant boom in the entire internet community and around the world, in general it is a film so simple, so regular that it does not even reach the heels of the first film.
