Welcome to part 4 of brainwashed, as promised this is where we can start to connect some of the dots and find out our attachment to the crown by accepting an honorary title.
A lot of people believe MR is an abbreviation for “Master of the Rolls” which can be found in law dictionaries –
What is M R?
An abbreviation for "Master of the Rolls." Law Dictionary: What is M R? Definition of M R (Black's Law Dictionary)
However a quick check on this and you will find:-
Master of the Rolls
The Keeper or Master of the Rolls and Records of the Chancery of England, known as the Master of the Rolls, is the second-most senior judge in England and Wales after the Lord Chief Justice, and serves ...Wikipedia
This does not sound right, a dead end i think - we should start smaller and see what Webster’s has to say regarding the title of Mr:-
Webster’s
Mr:- A title prefixed to the name of a man.
Now to fully investigate this, we need to look at what the definition is for “title”.
Title:-
1) The name of a book, play, motion picture or song etc.
2) A title page as of a book.
3) A descriptive name; epithet.
4) An appellation showing rank, office, profession, station in life etc.
Again it comes back to you having a “rank”, let’s check Wikipedia and see what their definition has to say about Mr:-
**Mr. **- Wikipedia.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr.
Mister, usually written in its abbreviated form Mr. (US & HK) or Mr (US & UK & HK), is a commonly used English honorific for men under the rank of knighthood. The title derived from earlier forms of master, as the equivalent female titles Mrs, Miss, and Ms all derived from earlier forms of mistress.
So it looks quite clear from these definitions that it keeps coming back to “Rank”. We know that Rank is “the order or place in which certain officers are placed in the army and navy, In relation to others”. And the queen is responsible for the armed services and for knighthoods it would therefore follow that if you accept the title of Mr, then you hold an honorific title as a subject of the Queen.
How can you have accepted this title and how can you be a subject of the Queen? Well chances are, you have answered to the title of Mr, This title is not yours, and it belongs to your person. When you answer to the title, you become one with the person. When your person receives a letter from a government agency, which is owned by the crown, it will nearly always have the honorary title of Mr. When you reply to these letters, you accept the title and are associated with it always when dealing with that agency.
Almost everything you have and believe to be yours, actually belongs to your person - Who's name is on your credit/bank card? Who's name is on your driving licence? Who owns you house, or your car? Everyone around you believes they are a person, with all caps name and will answer to the title of Mr or Mrs.
Thank you for reading and please don’t take my word for it, feel free to do your own research and i look forward to your comments.
