Have you noticed that humans are way happier and prouder of theirselves whenever they start making money as an entrepreneur without having to depend on their employer. There is a big difference between a person making $100k a year as an employee and a person making $100k as an entrepreneur, one feels liberated and the other feels trapped. I was watching an Instagram reel and one social media influencer was celebrating his win on how he has made over $100k from content creation. Now that is great because as an entrepreneur, you are your own boss that controls your life and has the opportunity of expanding.

As a starting entrepreneur the first few payments might not be so much but at least, it’s enough to be free. Most entrepreneurs do the things they love, that passion is what drives them and make them want to put extra effort, some of them put that extra effort because they are too scared to be working under someone because that means they have to lose their freedom. As an employee, your employer owns you during your working hours, you almost can not do anything outside your job because you are being paid for it, and most times you are being paid way less than your worth, because yo it employer has to make profit.
But as an entrepreneur you earn what you are worth, if you work extra hard and earn extra, it’s yours, but as an employee, it goes to your boss. Sometimes you find an employee wishing they were in the position of an entrepreneur because they have enough freedom to do whatever they want, but an entrepreneur can’t afford to rest because for every second they are not working, it’s an opportunity passing by and they can’t make money without working because they are busy working so hard to make sure their business can function without them so they can finally take that rest they deserve.
So in all of this, we are all looking for a means to escape the rat race placed on us based on the society we have found ourselves in. No matter how much you love what you are doing, there comes a time you can’t wait for the time you will retire or be in a position where you can make money effortlessly.
