Perched quietly on a blade of grass still faithfully accompanied by morning dew was a small butterfly. It was a Detached Dart, a diminutive species belonging to the Hesperiidae family. When I found it, the butterfly held its wings tightly closed, revealing a beautiful pattern.
Shades of brownish-orange blended exquisitely with striking black markings, giving it an elegant appearance amidst the soothing expanse of green. At first glance, it might seem ordinary, but a closer look reveals the intricate beauty of the patterns on its wings, they resemble a painting crafted by a master's hand, with details that are impeccably neat and perfect.
The butterfly was tiny roughly the size of an adult's thumb. Yet, despite its small stature, it possessed a stout, plump body covered in thick fur. I have never encountered such dense fur on larger butterfly, this thick coat gave it an adorable look, much like a winter jacket.
