Dark grass-brown butterfly

Today I found another small creature that looks simple but has an extraordinary charm. The small creature is a dark grass-brown butterfly known in Latin as Orsotriaena medus. This butterfly is one of the simple butterflies from the Nymphalidae family. I found the butterfly perched on a blade of grass. It stayed there, as if it was enjoying the slow flowing seconds.

This butterfly looks very simple, but if we take a moment to observe it, its charm is extraordinary as I said earlier. This butterfly is small, about the size of an adult's thumb. Its entire body is brown, decorated with a unique pattern in the shape of an eye and a white line that looks like a thin line. The butterfly is neither flashy nor shiny, but it managed to make me stop and stare at it for quite a while. Simple but very charming.
