Day 2005: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: ocean travel


"The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe", not exactly the typical reading material one would have in mind when going on an ocean travel, but here she was, the witch -- who just so happened to stumble upon a magically locked "wardrobe" that could only be opened by a chosen "lion"-- making her way down the rocky coastline.

Of course, instead of being lulled into a sense of relaxation by the crashing of waves on the nearby jagged rocks, her mind chose to focus instead on the large bony remains of whatever unfortunate creature that wandered into the "lion's den".

"Hopefully I wouldn't be the appetizer for today." She dryly thought, spinning around with her staff at the ready just as the heavy thumps of footfalls approached her.
