One night, while flying, the fairy queen passed through the roof of a king's palace on a moonlit night. They saw a prince sleeping soundly on his rooftop. When the queen of the fairies saw the prince, she felt she should take him with her. She thought she should take him away silently, but she had no experience of the earth, so he did not do so.
She kept looking at the prince for a long time. Her companion fairies sensed this condition in their queen and jokingly said, "Queen, one should not be enticed by the man of earth." Let's go back. But if you like this man so much, we will bring you back here later."

One day, the chief minister took the prince to see all the rooms of the palace. He showed him all the rooms but did not show him one room. The prince insisted a lot, but the minister would not agree. The minister's son was also with them at that time. He was a great friend of the prince. He said, "Father, the palace, the kingdom, and the gardens all belong to the new king. Why did you stop him from entering this room?
The minister said, "Son, you are right. Everything belongs to him, but at the time of his death, the late king had ordered me not to take the prince into this room. He will feel very bad if I do this. Actually, the picture of the girl on the wall will attract the prince to the girl whom he saw in his dream and asked the stars to fulfill his desire to marry her."
The son of the minister thought for a while. Then he said, "But father, now the prince is our king. It is important for all of us to obey him. Within no time, a flying carpet landed there. The Angles were holding each of the carpet's corners, and their queen was seated on that carpet. The four fairies supported their queen, lowered her, and placed her on a throne of gold studded with diamonds and pearls. One angel said to the fairy queen, "Look, two men are sleeping under the tree." One of them is the same prince we saw when flying over their palace.
The fairy queen said, "Bring him in front of me immediately."
As soon as the prince was brought to see the fairy queen, his eyes opened wide, and he was dazzled by the beauty of the fairy. He was scared at first and said, with folded hands, "Please let me go, I have another princess in my mind."
The fairy queen smiled and said, "Prince, you can't go anywhere now. You have to marry me."
The prince got into big trouble. He said, "Fairy Queen, I beg your pardon. I have set out in search of another princess, so I can't marry you."
The fairy queen said, "Oh prince, man cannot reach that princess on his own." You can never find her without divine power. If you marry me, I will give you such power that you will be able to reach the princess of fairy land.
The prince was overjoyed to hear this and said, "Fairy queen, I will marry you." But I had a wish, and the stars promised to fulfil it. I will take you with me only when I return with the fairy princess.
The fairy happily took off her ring and gave it to the prince, saying, "As long as this ring is with you, no one can harm you. No magic will affect you. No one will be able to cast any magic on you.
Giving the ring, the fairy queen flew into the sky. In the morning, both of them saw that the gate to the garden was open. They both rode their horses and left. The prince was in such a hurry to meet the fairy queen that he moved so fast that the son of the minister got separated from him. On the way, the prince reached a city where swords were hanging at each door. He saw an old woman sitting at a door. He was very thirsty. He went to the old lady and asked for water. The old lady gave her water and told him the address of the fairy queen's palace.
By that time, the son of the minister had also reached there, and the prince jumped with joy when he met him. They went to meet the fairy princess together now. The prince and the minister's son entered the palace. The prince said to her gatekeepers, "I want to meet fairy queen."
In no time, the prince and the son of the minister were taken to the king. When the fairy's father saw that a prince had come to marry his daughter, he asked for his introduction. The king found in him a suitable groom for his daughter and permitted him to marry her.
The prince married the fairy princess and left for his kingdom with the fairy princes. His wish was fulfilled. On the way, he told the princess about another fairy who had helped him reach her. The fairy princess smiled and said, "I am the same fairy who gave you my ring, but I wanted to test your loyalty."
All three of them sat on a flying carpet and left for the kingdom of the prince. His wish had come true.
