Study Music
Now this is quite a controversial one. It has been a long time since I last studied officially, like the mugging study can. Now different people would have different study habits. While many turn to music when they study, some still do not listen to any when they are trying to focus. So, this is a pretty subjective topic. Do you know that psychologists from the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences has concluded that music is more distracting than beneficial. Nevertheless, I am sure many would protest and not agree with that.
Past
In the past, the amount of data in mobile plans are horribly low. While mine now has around 100 GB per month, it used to be at a miserable 6 GB per month. So even if things like Spotify existed in the past, it is a no no as it would explode the data limit and incur huge lost. Needless to say, you definitely will not use Youtube which is video, and incur way way more data usage. Well, mine is not that far back to the point we have to use walkman or discman, or things like iPod.
Study Music Now
Now, there are tons of study music everywhere on Youtube. With mobile plans having larger data limit and wifi turning more and more accessible to all, we start to see more creators and compilations of study music. For instance, we have these!
I don't know man, I think these music could easily jump to sleep music playlist! Hahaha. Perhaps I am tired now, thats why it appeals to me as sleep music.
White Noise
Then, there is such thing as White Noise. We have some weird stuff going such as Alpha Waves, Beta Waves and so on. But White Noise clearly is one of the most popular one. So what are white noise exactly?
White noise is actually a faint beat in the background that serves to blocks off any distracting noise coming in from the background or surrounding. Basically, it allows the listener to enjoy the melody while blocking off other noise, allowing the listener to focus. At least, by theory it is!
