RE: Global Blacklist API Proposal needs support
Either you got an attempt of self governance, which will never work perfectly and smoothly and to the satisfaction of everyone, or you got central governance and it works best for most besides some small

Yeah, I don't know why, might be something of @therealwolf 's API which produces it like that. But its always like that...

RE: Global Blacklist API Proposal needs support
The system was not designed to abuse it, the system was designed to balance itself, downvoting people for attempting to abuse it, is how the system was designed. The name is self governance.

Most of the bidbots still call that abuse of their services (read their ToS) so I'd call it justified.

The noticeable downtrend in the graph is actually because there is not enough data for today yet. It always looks like this.

I thought a lot about this lately, and I think one of the easiest ways to make it more fun it to disable the visibility of downvotes. I don't think it should be necessary for Steemit and the other frontends

That's why I meant that we are probably already in the slope and not before it. But we can't forget that as it goes up, it easily stagnates as well. Especially AI, AI is stagnating for a long time already.

I don't agree on the slope. We are probably more already in this slope While we have technological progress, we often have regress on a society level. So your slope fits in technology but not for general

There are a bunch of private full nodes as well, but yes there are not many full API nodes yet (Hopefully will go up while MIRA matures). The reason is also that Steemit Inc provides free full API nodes

Yeah, but things like requiring a minimum stake to effectively be able to mine a block within a reasonable time makes this much more difficult though, doesn't it? Effectively the biggest stakeholders should

Oh, I definitely agree, I didn't mean to say that PoW doesn't have any problems of centralization, but it has no problem of monopolization like PoS has. We got mining pools which can be a short term threat

It's a general problem of PoS I would say. In PoS you yourself will use your stake to guarantee the best possible outcome in terms of inflation. While in DPoS you would vote for representatives which will
