Faith is a living force that is drawn from the living word to produce living proofs. The drawing of faith from the word is revelation.
Faith that works is drawn from the living word.
Hebrew 11:1
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
FAITH AND WORKS
A living faith produces certain results that could be called the works of faith because faith without work is dead. James 2:14 What does it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? 18 says Yea, a man says, thou has faith, and I have works: Show me thy faith without thy works and I will show thee my faith by my works.
Faith and works are inseparable. Like two sides of a coin, one cannot exist without the other. Faith comes first and then leads the way to corresponding works.
ELEMENTS OF FAITH THAT WORKS
1 Be patient
Habakkuk 2:1-3
Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
2 Mediate in the word
Joshua 1:8
But thou shall mediate therein and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein.
3 Engage in prayer and fasting
Jeremiah 33:3
Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
4 Engage in something meaningful
Philippians 4:8
Whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise. Think on these things.
Finally my beloved, the kingdom of God does not permit idleness. It requires everyone to work out his or her own salvation with fear and trembling. It is by doing this that we can please the one who chose us. Stop wishing and start doing! Don't procrastinate.
I leave you in the hands of God Almighty.
