Topping/pruning... the 105 fruit trees...on our 1/4 acre urban lot! D-Fruit!

Hello again today @dtube and Steem Blockchain! We are back here again...today...sharing a quick @dtubesnap from our urban food forest here in Southern Utah. Please check out our previous two videos on our blog...as we show how we collect wood chips and spread them around our fruit trees....as fertilizer! LIFE!

In this video today...we are still out spreading wood chips...but we are also topping/pruning... our fruit trees. We keep our trees about arms reach above our head after topping. They are able to then grow back out.....to a manageable harvesting height for us without the use of ladders. Keeping them pruned back this way...has allowed us to pack in about 105 fruit trees on this small urban lot. We have a wood chipper but have found it to be much easier...to just take it to a place where they are chipping and bring it back..and SPREAD!
