As soon as I arrived at one of my favorite parks I found a Brown Thrasher had come out of the bushes near a feral cat that was watching it closely.
The Brown Thrasher was aware of the cat, but carried on with his hunting.
The feral cat lost interest after a while, but would check in on where that crazy bird was every few moments.
The Brown Thrasher was a very active hunter.
Hopping, digging, pushing, poking...
Ready to disappear back into the bushes at any moment.
Our Feral Cat friend did take a closer look at one point at his noisy bird friend.
I think the Brown Thrasher knew the Feral Cat was no match for him.
Just after this shot he found something tasty and skipped off into the bushes.
