Hello everyone I hope you are well, today I bring you a drawing that so far has been the most special I've done and as you can see the illustration is about a witch drinking coffee with a villager in a beautiful fantasy garden. This time I wanted to test myself a little bit because I had been weeks without making a drawing with a background, it's strange, but somehow I got inspired and began to imagine all kinds of things which I could put in this drawing, I remember that at first it was just the witch drinking tea alone in her garden, but then it occurred to me that she was with someone else, it was also a good opportunity to finally put two characters in the same scenario, little by little I was putting together a puzzle in my brain until I finally had it visualized to perfection.

So, once I had visualized what I wanted to do, I went directly to Pinterest to look for all kinds of references, the first thing I did was to design the protagonists of this illustration, and then think about how the garden would be to finally make the sketch. But something unfortunate happened, the color, it is always something that stops me in my drawings, I did not fully understand the color theory so I went to Youtube and watched many tutorials on color, but not only that, I saw all kinds of tutorials which could help me, the truth is that there are very good tutorials, I learned a lot, my perspective on color changed and now I felt more confident about what I had to do.

Hola a todos espero se encuentren bien, el día de hoy les traigo un dibujo que hasta el momento ha sido el más especial que he hecho y como pueden visualizar la ilustración se trata de una bruja tomando café con una aldeana en un hermoso jardín de fantasía. En esta ocasión quise ponerme un poco a prueba ya llevaba semanas sin hacer un dibujo que llevara fondo, es extraño, pero de alguna manera me llegó la inspiración y comencé a imaginar todo tipo de cosas las cuales podría poner en este dibujo, recuerdo que al principio solo era la bruja tomando té sola en su jardín, pero después se me ocurrió que estuviera con otra persona, además fue una buena oportunidad para finalmente poner dos personajes en un mismo escenario, poco a poco fui armando un rompecabezas en mi cerebro hasta que finalmente ya lo tenía visualizado a la perfección.

De esta manera, ya una vez tenía visualizado lo que quería hacer, fui directamente a Pinterest para buscar todo tipo de referencias, lo primero que hice fue diseñar a las protagonistas de esta ilustración, y luego pensar en como sería el jardín para finalmente hacer el boceto. Pero ocurrió algo desafortunado, el color, siempre es algo que me frena en mis dibujos no entendía del todo la teoría del color por lo que fui a Youtube y vi muchos tutoriales sobre el color, aunque no solo eso, vi todo tipo de tutoriales los cuales me podrían servir, la verdad hay muy buenos tutoriales, aprendí mucho, mi perspectiva sobre el color cambió y ahora ya me sentía con más seguridad sobre lo que tenía que hacer.

As you can see, here I show you a little of what was the background process, I don't have it complete, but I wanted to show the little I could collect, at first I wanted to make a sunny day, but then it wouldn't highlight the giant mushroom enough so I turned it into a dark forest, I know there could have been another way to make it stand out, but this was the one I liked the most in my opinion. After completing the background I made the characters of which I have the process, I hope you like it.

Como pueden ver, ahí les muestro un poco de lo que fue el proceso del fondo, no lo tengo completo, pero de igual manera quería mostrar lo poco que pude recopilar, al principio quería hacer un día soleado, pero entonces no resaltaría el hongo gigante lo suficiente por lo que lo volví un bosque oscuro, sé que pudo haber otra manera de hacerlo resaltar, pero esta fue la que más me gustó a mi parecer. Después de completar el fondo hice a las personajes de las cuales si tengo el proceso, espero les guste.

I must say that the base colors of the clothes were great, the villager I tried to keep it simple and the witch I tried to make it look like she was magical and I wanted it to match her garden.

Debo decir que los colores base de las ropas quedaron genial, la aldeana traté de que fuera simple y la bruja traté de que pareciera que era mágica y quería que combinara con su jardín.

Since the characters are far away I didn't have to detail as much as I normally would.

Ya que las personajes se encuentran lejos no tuve que detallar tanto como lo haría normalmente.

The lights I added little as that would make it more in the final result.

Here I gave the final touches, since the giant mushroom was glowing I made it look like it was glowing and that glow was reflected in the background, I also added a texture which gave it a better finish.

Aquí di los toques finales, ya que el hongo gigante brillaba hice que pareciera que brilla y que ese brillo se reflejaba en el fondo, además añadí una textura la cual le dio un mejor acabado.

According to the application the process of this illustration was 33 hours, although it was much more with all the planning I did. The final result left me happy, it makes me think that I have improved with respect to the past, maybe before I would have been frustrated and would not have finished it, but I tried to take it easy, whenever I got stuck I always looked for a solution, I am one of those people who think that you always have to close doors and after a week I could close this one, which was a small odyssey. This is one of the illustrations which I will cherish for a long time, since I learned several things, in a few years when I have more experience I would like to do it again to compare and see how much I have evolved, but for today I am satisfied.

Según la aplicación fueron 33 horas el proceso de esta ilustración, aunque fueron muchas más con toda la planificación que hice. El resultado final me dejó contento, me hace pensar que he mejorado con respecto al pasado, tal vez antes me hubiera frustrado y no lo hubiera terminado, pero traté de tomármelo con calma siempre que me trababa buscaba una solución, soy de las personas que piensan que siempre hay que cerrar puertas y después de una semana pude cerrar esta, la cual fue una pequeña odisea. Esta es de las ilustraciones las cuales apreciaré por mucho tiempo, ya que aprendí varias cosas, en unos años cuando tenga más experiencia me gustaría volver a hacerla para comparar y ver que tanto he evolucionado, pero por el día de hoy estoy satisfecho.
