My POV is that ICOs are playing the lottery. It's a lucky chance that the bucks you put into an ICO will turn into large quick gains. The only reason an ICO will shoot up hundreds% is because of manipulation.

Sure thing it was manipulation. Crypto isn't regulated, therefore the whales can cause a splash and a wave. The crash (speculating) had to do with 1) whales in elite circles planning buys and sells. 2)
