People say that art is dead, and in layman's terms it is not difficult to get to that point. But what is art? Art has been around the world, it existed before it ever had a name. For so many centuries, the curiosity and tendency toward basic human nature is what brought what we now call art into being.

So art is not dead. It will exist in one way or another. The thing to worry about is humanity, which is dying day by day. One form or another, answers based on computer logic, and the pressure to compete with computers, the productivity obsessed mindset, all line up to pull us away from humans and their humanities.
It is a misdirection of times, and it happens all the time. We think we know what is coming, but we are wrong because we think in the past. The bubble of the internet changed everything, and we think the same will happen with new technologies as well. What we know now is nothing close to what will actually be there. So going in any direction you like will be the best thing, and therefore art will exist in one way or another. Perhaps we will become art in forms we have yet to try.
Perhaps the machines will create, but they will never need to. And that need, that ache to make something out of nothing, is where art begins and where humanity must return. We are not competing with technology, we are just forgetting ourselves. The answer was never in the logic, it was always in the longing.
