The Siberian stonechat or Asian stonechat (Saxicola maurus)
For some reason, these guys come to us only in August, before that they’re nowhere. This Siberian subspecies is quite specific in its behavior, as well as in appearance. His head is not black, but filled with gray streaks and spots. The orange abdomen looks dull, in contrast to the bright orange in the common stonechat. And in terms of behavior, they are quite cautious, and do not let them get close to themselves.
