The death toll from a US-Bangla Airlines crashed in the capital of Nepal's capital Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has risen to 51.
On Monday, 49 people were killed in the incident. A pilot pilot Abid Sultan and a passenger died in hospital on Tuesday morning. The number of people killed in this tragedy increased to 51. News Kathmandu Post
Nepal's Interior Ministry has said 28 of the dead, 22 Bangladeshi nationals, 22 Nepalese and one Chinese citizen. This is the third highest death toll in Nepal's plane crash.
The plane, which started its journey from Dhaka on Monday, lost control of the pilot after it landed at the airport and crashed off the runway. At least 40 people were killed in the accident. 9 separate deaths in separate smiles
The chief executive officer of the US-Bangla Airlines, Imran Asif blamed the control room of Nepal's port as a cause of the accident in a press conference. He said accident occurred due to negligence of Nepal's control room.
However, General Manager of Trivuban International Airport Raj Kumar Chettri denied the allegation. His claim, due to the mistake of the pilot, is the accident.
Meanwhile, their relatives, who went to Nepal on Tuesday morning to know the latest condition of the injured, said their relatives. They arrived in Nepal on a flight of US-Bangla Airlines at around 10:30 am on Tuesday. After reaching Kathmandu, they were first taken to Bangladesh Embassy. From there they took them to the embassy vehicle, beside Aponjans in the hospital.
Bangladesh embassy in Kathmandu said the injured were kept in three hospitals there. Their treatment is going well. After identifying the dead relatives, they will be decided to send them to the country.
