Hello everyone! This is my first time participating in the #Monomad Challenge. In fact, I just subscribed to the community, so you'll probably have to help me if something isn't right with my post today. However, I felt like sitting down to write, which is unusual because it's nighttime here and I never work on Hive at this hour, but this will be my second night alone, and there's a silence in the house that inspires me and makes me remember that night, the night you can see in the photographs I want to share with you today. I took them in August of last year, and I hadn't yet found the right moment to share them on my blog, because what I felt that night was truly special.

¡Hola a todos!. Esta es mi primera vez en #Monomad Challenge, de hecho, me acabo de suscribir a la comunidad, así que es muy probable que deban ayudarme en caso de que algo no esté bien con mi post de hoy. Sin embargo, tenía ganas de sentarme a escribir, y eso es raro porque aquí es de noche y nunca trabajo en Hive a estas horas, pero esta será mi segunda noche solo y hay un silencio en casa que me inspira y me hace recordar aquella noche, la noche que pueden apreciar en las fotografías que hoy quiero compartirles, las cuales tomé en Agosto del año pasado y aún no había encontrado el momento de traerlas a mi blog, porque lo que sentí esa noche fue realmente especial.

Me encanta el trabajo fotográfico en Blanco y Negro, de hecho hay muchas personas aquí en Hive que admiro, uno de ellos tiene mi nombre y mi apellido, y además es de Venezuela igual que yo 😅 pero de igual manera no creo que me vean muy seguido por acá, porque cuando tomo fotografías con mi teléfono siempre me enfoco en los colores. Creo que mientras más color hay a mi al rededor más feliz soy, y lo que comparto hoy no es la excepción, pero esa noche estaba solo, en un lugar mágico, todos mis amigos y mi esposa dormían y yo decidí salir a explorar entre luces y sombras. Sí, las olas del mar se escuchaban a lo lejos, pero aún así, era un silencio maravilloso, lejos del ruido de la ciudad.

Decidí compartir estas imágenes en blanco y negro porque lo considero muy íntimo y nostálgico. La soledad tiene tonos oscuros, y aún así me gusta, aunque no en exceso. En esta zona de piscina había mucha brisa, esas palmeras se sacudían con fuerza y recuerdo que esa noche en particular no había estrellas, el cielo estaba realmente negro. Tomé estas fotos y me recosté un rato cerca del agua. Cerré mis ojos y me perdí en mis pensamientos más íntimos. Fue un momento tan especial que el sonido de la brisa y de las olas se convirtió en música de fondo para todas las locuras que pasaban por mi mente... Pero lo que más resaltaba era la paz y una profunda tranquilidad, tanto fue, que escribir estas palabras y recordar esa noche erizan mi piel nuevamente. Ahora revivo este momento y blanco y negro y veo que ha sido una gran idea 🖤

There were many lights on, but at night, darkness always prevails in open spaces. I confess I don't like the dark, but since I do like solitude, I was fine. I didn't go for a walk on the beach because it was forbidden, but yes, it was a special night for me, because I had never had an experience like that before. What I do remember is that a few hours later, and with my wife, I went out to see my first sunrise on the beach; if you follow me on Hive, you'll surely remember that post. I never understood why everyone was sleeping and missing out on such a special moment of peace, but in retrospect, I'm glad, because that moment was for me. A night with myself, beautiful, silent, and much needed...

Habían muchas luces encendidas, pero en la noche la oscuridad siempre predomina los espacios abiertos. Confieso que no me gusta la oscuridad, pero como sí me gusta la soledad entonces estuve bien. No fui a caminar hasta la playa porque estaba prohibido, pero sí, fue una noche especial para mí, porque nunca había tenido una experiencia como esa. Lo que sí recuerdo es que pocas horas después y junto a mi esposa salí a ver mi primer amanecer en la playa; si me sigues en Hive seguramente recordarás ese post. Nunca entendí por qué todos dormían y se perdían de un momento de paz tan especial, pero en retrospectiva me alegra, porque ese momento era para mí. Una noche conmigo mismo, hermosa, silenciosa y muy necesaria...

At the end of the night, my darkness, my peace, and my silence were suddenly interrupted by the arrival of a small group of cats... They weren't friendly, but it didn't matter; they brought back the color to the night, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening... I only regret not having anything to offer them to eat 😿 Al final de la noche mi oscuridad, mi paz y mi silencio fue interrumpida de golpe por la llegada de una pequeña manada de gatos... No eran amigables, pero no importa, hicieron que volviera nuevamente el color y fue el final perfecto para una noche inolvidable... Solo lamento no haber tenido nada de comer para ofrecerles 😿
