Hi erh.germany@erh.germany

Sry I didn't respond earlier. As I explained to samsmith1971@samsmith1971 this really was a point I'd have been better raising two weeks ago when a fairly new-ish hive user called @wongi (I'm purposefully not tagging her because she won some prizes for her review and I don't feel like she'd appreciate me pulling her into this tbh) reviewed my Red Days fantasy fiction 4-parter.

I think to be honest when I really mull over why I'm particularly against these sorts of highly restrictive rules (PG13 is very restrictive given that it probably accounts for 30% or less of all the content in the world), it is less about my personal freedom or liberty.

I can publish to S&S or to The Ink Well if I follow their guidelines.

But, I've said on loads of occasions that nearly all of my fiction doesn't get published on hive now. I'm working on a longer WIP, a trilogy, and the only thing on hive that has anything to do with it is a story called The Gelded One

But, I know a famous author. He'd not appreciate me mentioning his name, the only clue I could give is that he's had a cameo on The Simpsons. Now I showed him Steem/Hive on numerous occasions, and he's fascinated by it, but at the same time has told me categorically that he won't put anything on here or create an account in the current climate.

It is things like the centralization of a supposedly decentralized blockchain that make him laugh his head off, and also tell me "No chance, No way."

And that's just one successful author I know, how many others have had similar reactions?

But as far as I'm concerned, I made a boo-boo with all of this thread comments, because like I said I was more than 2 weeks too late for it to be relevant to the content I'm even talking about 😂

I suffer from a few chronic illnesses, and although it is no excuse, it is the reason I forget things or lose track of timing etc. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is the worst for that. The only way I'm even keeping it close to together working on a full manuscript is by combining post-it notes with scrivener and a daily tick list.

Most people would just use their brains lol
