Today is international women's day, a day for celebrating the achievements of women and seeking gender equality.
This years theme is #BreaktheBias, which is explained in two parahraphs:
Imagine a gender equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women’s equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.
We can break the bias in our communities.
We can break the bias in our workplaces.
We can break the bias in our schools, colleges and universities.
Together, we can all break the bias – on International Women’s Day (IWD) and beyond.

In some countries, this day celebrated as a national holiday and the women gets flowers or gifts.
This is not the case in my country but I, as a strong independent woman made my day very special.
Went out at sunset for some photobombs.
Just like my pose, be free, be happy, be confident, keep shining and be you 🌸
After the photos I went with my bestie to get some poffertjes and fruit.
Happy women's day to you
