I did my master thesis on irrational decision making and the personality treats succesfull CEO’s have in common.
I believe that AI will help to make the rational choices - but that irrational behaviour will not only have downsides but will also create value. Therefore I think AI will have a place in replacing mostly routine work, and will facilitate decision making on all levels, but I am not too worried it will replace high level skills.
Furthermore human interaction by itself provides value. For example in grouptherapy - here the “correct views” don’t matter too much, just experiencing friction with other people is valuable (even when they are psychotic).
There is value in human bonding - feeling related to each other. Taking risks even when the odds are against us.
AI is here to stay, will create a disruption in thw short term and I believe will settle as a valuable tool long term.
