I saw this coming a long time ago, so it does not surprise me that I finally feel this way.

I'm starting to get bored of writing, at least of doing it daily, again.

I've had this happen before. It was mostly due to the fact that I was so obsessed with making money using my articles, simply because I really needed it, that I overworked myself to the point where I didn't enjoy this activity that much any more. This isn't the case right now.

What happened currently is that I'm starting to run out of useful / fun ideas to write about. Well, better said, I'm having a difficult time finding such ideas that I can write about in the little time that I have.

I could write about more difficult topics, about the books I've read in the past 6 months, about some of the things that I've noticed at work, and some more... complex things, but those things require thinking and, more importantly, time, something that I don't currently have.

With around 4 hours of free time a day, I find it difficult to dive too deep into any topic, because after a certain threshold, writing is just the medium with which you share your thoughts, thoughts that must be developed and understood and criticized for long enough before they start to make proper sense and before you can use them to share something great.

I simply do not have time for all that. I cannot sit and think, do research, read multiple books on a single topic that interests me. I have to divide my time between writing, eating, shopping for things that I need, taking care of tasks outside of work, and even relaxing, so I don't go insane doing nothing with my current existence except work.

All this means that I'm forced to write shallow content just to keep on posting. And why do I want to keep on posting? Well, mainly because I got this "idea", this "goal" back in April, after a few months spent writing content in my free time, that I could continue to do it, even while away for my job, until November when I can finally come home again.

Why did I get this idea, this goal, and kept it? I have no idea. Maybe just to prove that I can. Maybe because I am a work junkie and I cannot stop. But while I am here, with the job that I have, in the place that I have, I simply cannot write anything more deep while also posting regularly. Too many things get in the way.

And this makes writing lose a bit of value to me, at least temporarily. I'm becoming happier and happier at the thought that in just 21 days I'm going to stop. And I'm sure that after a few weeks of non-activity, I'll crave once again the feeling of sharing my ideas using this medium. And I'll get back at it again, hopefully with more meaningful content.
