Hi all my friends in the Hive Learners community, I hope all of you are always healthy and smooth in carrying out your activities.
On this occasion, I will again greet all of you in the featured contest held by the Hive Learners community. We all must be very familiar with this contest because every week we will discuss a different theme in each edition. In this first edition, in Week 37, we will discuss something very interesting, namely about the work we are doing now, how we achieve this work. Do we use the talents we have or do we just rely on our hard work to achieve our success until now. Surely everyone has their own way of achieving their goals. Which path will I choose? I will share stories together if here.
First we discuss a little about talent and hard work. So that we better understand where the difference lies between the two. Alright, let's talk about talent first. Talent is a special position that someone has, everyone has different potential. For example, there are some people who are good at counting but not good at drawing. This happens because most humans only have one of the dominant talents in them. It's not that he can't learn for something he's not good at, but the results will be much different compared to people who really have talent in that area.
In contrast to hard work. If hard work is the maximum effort that we spend to be able to achieve a goal that we want to achieve, as in work maybe we lack variety in that field but we want to learn as much as possible so that we can balance our work in that field. Nothing is impossible as long as we want to try. Even though we don't have talent in that field with hard work we can definitely achieve it.
I've experienced both before I worked where I am now. So at least I have experienced how we work by relying on hard work and how we work by relying on the talents we have. I find it more enjoyable when we work with the talents we have because I think it will be a little easier for me to learn and understand the work I do.
I now work in the printing sector, all the work I do is required to use computers and machines. Maybe for some people it will be difficult but for me this is a fun job, because here I can hone my talents in the computer field. I have always enjoyed using computers when I was little. I often took computer lessons in my area, so I have had basic knowledge of computers for a long time. From the beginning I felt that learning computer is one of the pleasures and very enjoyable. Makes me dare to try something new to add to the knowledge I have.
Initially I pursued this field when I was invited to work by my friend at a printing shop in my area, at first I was doubtful I thought that my knowledge of computers was still very low. However, when I started working I thought this job was quite easy maybe because I already had basic knowledge of computers so when I learned from my seniors there I found it easy to understand, which at first I thought was very difficult to do but when I tried it didn't as difficult as I had in mind. For me, the most important thing is that we want to learn and try our best, everything will be easier for us to do.
I think the job I'm doing now is more dominant with the talent I have, so I really enjoy the job I'm doing now. I also work hard to deepen my knowledge so that I can develop better in the future. For me talent alone is not enough because knowledge is very broad so we also need to work hard to dig deeper into the potential that I have. If we do not deepen the knowledge we have and feel that what we have now is sufficient, we will be left behind because knowledge continues to grow and we are always required to be able to keep up with the times, therefore we must always upgrade the knowledge we have.
