Assalamu Alaikum everyone!
I hope you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, we are also doing well.
Today, I want to share a very special journey with you. It is a journey that millions of people dream of making. It is the journey of love, the journey to Karbala, the journey to visit Imam Hussain (A.S.).
Imam Hussain (A.S.) gave the greatest sacrifice in history. He sacrificed himself, his family, and even his beloved children to stand for truth, justice, and humanity. We are travelling to Karbala to remember that sacrifice and to keep his message alive.
Every journey starts with preparing your luggage. So first, I packed our suitcases and my little son's stroller. Early in the morning, we left Quetta and travelled to Karachi because our international flight was from Karachi.
We stayed one night in Karachi. Since we didn't bring any food with us, we ordered breakfast from our hotel and enjoyed a simple meal together. Sometimes, even these small family moments become beautiful memories during a journey.
The next day, we flew from Karachi to Sharjah. After arriving in Sharjah, we had a long 13-hour layover at the airport. Travelling with a young child is not always easy, but Alhamdulillah everything went well. We gave our son something to eat, and he rested and slept at the airport while we waited for our next flight.
The following morning, at around 8 a.m., we boarded our flight to Baghdad. When we arrived in Baghdad, we travelled by car to Najaf. We stayed there for one night to rest after our long journey.
The next day, we began the Arbaeen Walk from Najaf to Karbala. For about two to three days, we walked together with millions of pilgrims from different countries. It was amazing to see people helping each other with food, water, and kindness. Everyone was walking with one purpose and one love in their hearts.
Today, Alhamdulillah, we have reached Karbala.
This is not just a trip; it is a spiritual journey. It teaches patience, gratitude, love, sacrifice, and humanity. It reminds us that true strength comes from standing for what is right, just as Imam Hussain (A.S.) did.
If you ever want to experience love, unity, generosity, and faith in one place, I truly recommend visiting the Arbaeen pilgrimage at least once in your life.
Thank you for reading about our journey. Please keep us in your prayers, and if you have any prayer requests, write them in the comments. We will remember you in our prayers at the holy shrine of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
May Allah bless you all. ❤️
